Working in a Senior Technical Support Analysis Network position, you will be responsible for providing detailed technical documentation and processes and providing complex technical support to those who are executing processes through such documentation. You will provide technical supervision to network/video engineers, operations and maintenance personnel for the maintenance, procurement, installation and repair of equipment. Rewrites technical staff documentation in a clear and concise style. Makes editorial and aesthetic improvements to documents and recommends new designs, layouts, and procedures. Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope. Uses judgment within defined practices and procedures. The incumbent must be articulate and technologically astute to successfully communicate with other individuals within the organization. This position regularly leads and coordinates the activities of other management teams and approves the necessary software and hardware upgrades of server/network/video elements and operation support systems that require vendor interaction, design and testing. In addition this position will perform as a subject matter expert (SME) and responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. This position provides second or top level problem resolution and is expected to analyze historical data regarding complex/chronic circuit, system or product outages. This includes initiating conference calls with internal departments and vendors to ensure they understand and comply with specific action plans.
